The Feels: When Breweries Give Back

The Feels: When Breweries Give Back

It’s not new for companies to partner with charities to make a difference in their communities. It’s a meaningful way to separate their brand from the competition - and feel good doing it.

For example, Lyft lets you round up your fare and donate to a specific charity from their roster. And more recently, Revolution Brewing is doing their part.

Now, if you bring in your gently used winter gear like gloves and hats to Rev, they’ll replace them with their merch, and donate yours to the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. The event takes place February 6 at Beck’s Chicago.

I think that’s enough to give anyone the feels.

It’s a simple, thoughtful way for the brewery and brand to connect with the community while doing a great deed.

I look forward to more movements, moments and events like these from local breweries in the coming months.
