Chicago Earns 12 FoBAB Awards
It’s barrel-aged beer season, and fresh off of our GABF wins, the Chicago beer scene now has 12 more reasons to celebrate.
The Festival of Barrel Aged Beer (FoBAB) kicked off on Nov. 8th with more than 400 barrel-aged beers from over 220 breweries who barrel the best.
With 12 unique judging categories, there’s something for everyone at this annual fest: Stouts, barleywines, ciders, meads and sours make for one amazing night of tasting.
Highlights include the Chicago sweep in the fruited beer category, and I’m super excited to see some of my favorite local breweries walk away with well-deserved medals.
