Ah, Pure Michigan. Not only do I have a lot of love for Michigan with its dunes, forests and natural beauty, but there’s so much good beer coming out of the Mitten State.

Enter Greenbush Brewing, the brewery you didn’t even know you needed in your life.

Lots of people stop here in during their beer pilgrimage from Chicago to Grand Rapids. They’re putting out some solid IPA’s, like their Starchicken Shot Gun. They’re also putting out some more unique and interesting beer, like a black IPA called Demens’ Black IPA, with a full BBQ menu to boot.

I definitely recommend making the quick stop here on your road trip between IL and MI. Not only is Greenbush located on the most quaint AF street you’ve ever strolled, but across the street from the brewery itself is a to-go shop with merch.

Be sure you make the stop when you’re traveling between two of the midwest’s best beer towns.
